Dude, I totally feel that shit. It’s like you’re mentally burned out from just waiting for the clock to strike 5 (or 6 in my case). I feel so energized when I leave then I sit down to get stuff done and I’m like… well… there’s nothing in here.

What I’ve found that helps is not to create in that time if I can’t but to outline what I want to get done and walk away from it. If the wave hits me back that night, I’ll try it. If not, and more often, the morning gives me great perspective and I jump right into it with a fresh mind.
